Subscribers who use water supply and sewerage services must have the necessary metering devices for calculating the water supplied to them and the sewage received.

According to the Law of Ukraine "On Metrology and Metrological Activities" and the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated July 21, 2005 No. 630 "On Approval of the Rules for Providing Services of Central Heating, Cold and Hot Water Supply, and Sewerage", it is stipulated that in an apartment (house of the suburban type), the installation of water metering devices is carried out by a specialized organization, executor, manufacturer, or supplier at the expense of the consumer.

According to Articles 20 and 28 of the Law of Ukraine "On Metrology and Metrological Activities", calculations for the volumes of water used are made using the data from verified water meters.

The frequency of verification for apartment water meters issued before 2007 is once every 3 years, and after 2007 – once every 4 years.

Currently, the "Meter Repair and Verification Workshop of the `Infoksvodokanal` Branch" deals with the verification and repair of water meters listed in the State Register of Ukraine. We also remind you that according to the requirement of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated July 21, 2005 No. 630, the consumer is obliged to take control readings of the metering devices monthly and make payments according to the actual services consumed.

For accurate accounting, consumers must provide meter readings to the subscriber department of the "Vodozbut" Management of the `Infoksvodokanal` branch from the 1st to the 4th day of the month following the reporting month using:

• Special mailboxes installed in each subscriber department;
• Answering machine phones of the subscriber departments:
  • Malinovsky District – 705-56-67, 705-56-68;
  • Kyivsky District – 705-47-06, 705-47-07;
  • Primorsky District – 705-43-92, 705-43-93;
  • Suvorovsky District – 705-46-84, 705-46-85.
• In the personal account on the official website of the `Infoksvodokanal` branch;
• Using online services or chatbots in Telegram and Viber to submit water meter readings;
• Or any other convenient method for the consumer.
