45 Years of Dedication: The Story of Valentyna Hryhorivna Rusnachenko

For 45 years, this is how Valentyna Hryhorivna Rusnachenko has welcomed Odesa residents as the Deputy Head of the Private Sector Customer Service Department at "Vodozbut". She is one of the most experienced employees of Infoksvodokanal💦.

"In this position, you have to be a lawyer, an accountant, a computer specialist, and a psychologist all at once,"
Valentyna Hryhorivna admits. Often, a single house has four or even five official owners, and she has to calculate each share and help with debt restructuring.

Her colleagues jokingly call her the "water utility encyclopedia" because she has witnessed the expansion of the city`s water network. When she started working, the private sector had 29,000 customers, whereas now there are almost 48,000. The specialists transitioned from keeping records in accounting books to a specialized computer program, which has changed almost completely over time.

However, Valentyna Hryhorivna easily keeps up with all technological innovations – she calls herself a "young mother" since she has been the official guardian of her grandson for the past 15 years. She admits they are now preparing for the NMT (National Multi-subject Test) together.

For her many years of dedicated work💪 and on the occasion of Professional Day of Housing and Utility Workers, Valentyna Hryhorivna was honored with an award certificate from the Association of Water Utilities of Ukraine🇺🇦.
