During the night of July 19, Infoxvodokanal specialists dismantled part of the damaged pipe, and prepared repair materials for the connection. But after the dismantling of the correction, an unexpected "surprise" was brought to the course of the work - it turned out that due to man-made influence, the other part of the cast-iron pipe was shifted along its axis. The constant arrival of water in the damaged pipeline also made the work difficult. After all, it takes much more time to completely empty the ring system. In order to speed up this process, a technologically controlled release of water from the system was carried out at a point on Balkivska Street.

As of 12:00 p.m., our specialists have completed the production of additional repair materials for the displaced pipe and are preparing to begin installation work immediately. During the connection of parts of the pipe, you will have to perform a complex of welding works and especially difficult works - hammering and sealing of the cast iron pipe.

Taking into account the specifics of the repair technology of cast iron pipelines, the estimated time of completion of repair works and restoration of water supply, unfortunately, had to be extended until 19:00 on July 19.
