‼️Water Supply Restoration Has Begun 💦 in the Prymorskyi, Kyivskyi, and Khadzhibey Districts of Odesa!
Dear friends! We have great news — the repair of the damaged water pipeline has just been completed, even a bit earlier than planned. Starting from 9:30 PM, we are beginning the process of restoring water supply.
We thank the residents of Odesa for their patience, and our workers for their dedicated efforts over the past two difficult days. Although the crews will continue working through the night (to close the excavation site), thanks to their work, the water supply is gradually being restored in compliance with all necessary technical procedures.
✅How does the process work?
- 🔹 The pumps are being activated gradually to avoid damaging the water supply system and to prevent further emergency breakdowns. At the same time, workers must open a significant number of valves throughout various city districts.
- 🔸 The water supply system is currently empty, so it will take some time to fully fill it with water. This depends on factors such as the distance from the pumping station, the floor level of the building, and the overall consumption activity of other users.
- 🔺 If you live in a multi-story building, please note that booster pump stations are used to provide adequate water pressure. It also takes time to fill in-building water storage tanks, if present. If water does not appear for a long time, please contact your building’s utility manager (Housing Maintenance Office, housing cooperative, condominium association, or management company) to check whether water is reaching the connection point of the building.
📢 Based on the above, full restoration of water supply may take from 2 to 6 hours.
If you still do not have water during the first half of the day on June 14, 2025, please contact the Infoksvodokanal call center:
