‼️DRINKING WATER💧 IN ODESA — SAFE

Friends, panic messages are circulating on social media about the risk of drinking water contamination in Odesa after floods. We want to inform you about the actual situation.

🔹 The Odesa Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention reminds: it is unsafe to drink water from wells or private cisterns, as they lack disinfection systems and can be contaminated, especially near landfills, animal burial sites, or toilets.

🔹 In Odesa, drinking water is supplied through a centralized system from the Dniester River. Its quality is monitored daily by the laboratories of “InfoksVodokanal” and simultaneously by the Odesa Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention.

🔹 Before reaching the network, water undergoes multi-stage purification and disinfection using modern European equipment. Monitoring is carried out around the clock across more than 55 indicators.

✅ According to recent studies, Odesa’s tap water meets all sanitary standards and is safe for consumption.

Stay calm — drinking water in Odesa is reliably purified and constantly monitored!
